foods division of Godrej Industries
has taken significant steps during
the recent past improve its operations.
Since November 2000 we have had
our own sales and distribution
infrastructure for our products.
This lean and cost efficient structure
has given us a great advantage
in the marketplace.
The
merger of the manufacturing, sales,
marketing and support functions
of the erstwhile Godrej Foods
Limited with Godrej Industries,
effective January 2002, has further
strengthened the company.
Our
constant focus will be to ensure
cost competitiveness and maximise
profitability for the company.
This will be achieved through
initiatives like EVA (economic
value added) and TPM (total productivity
management).
The
ultimate aim is to deliver consumer
satisfaction by offering value-for-money
products to all our customers
while upholding the Godrej tradition
of delivering 100 per cent quality
and reliability.
